The fifth ADAC GT4 Germany weekend took place at the Sachsenring. The driver pairing of Tim Reiter and Max Rosam once again took their place behind the wheel of the #2 of Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport. The field of drivers, strong as ever, consisted of 29 cars.
The track's layout makes it rather difficult for the BMW. Nevertheless, the duo was able to advance with their pace across all sessions. Tim Reiter qualified on the ninth row of the grid on Saturday and the driver pairing finished in 13th place.
Max Rosam showed a good stint in the BMW M4 GT4 on Sunday after starting the race from P24. But unfortunately Tim Reiter could not finish the race after a collision right after the pit exit.
"In the practice sessions on Friday, qualifying and the race on Saturday, I was able to improve continuously and put in a good performance. I was very happy with my pace. On Sunday, Max drove a really good first stint and I took over the car with motivation. It's a pity that I couldn't bring the good performance of the weekend to the finish on Sunday. A big thank you to the whole team, who did an excellent job as always," said Tim Reiter.
The final race weekend will be held at the Hockenheimring from October 21 to 23, 2022.
