Tim Reiter and Leon Wassertheurer celebrated a successful end to the season at the Hockenheimring. The drivers of the Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport team convinced with two strong races and were thus able to score points in almost all races of the 2023 season.
Reiter and Wassertheurer finished 9th in both qualifying sessions to put them in a good position for the final two races of the ADAC GT4 Germany season at the Hockenheimring.
On Saturday, the driver duo achieved 9th place in the BMW M4 GT4 G82, despite the BMW being spun by a competitor at the hairpin in the second half of the race and losing valuable time as a result.
On Sunday, the two drivers from Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport crossed the finish line in 5th place in a strong and faultless race. Thus, after the two races, there were once again important points for the overall standings.
"The fact that we are in the top ten overall in such a strong field of drivers makes me enormously happy. This is real teamwork and for that I thank the outstanding Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport team, my teammate Leon, my sponsors and my family and friends who have been cheering along. The 2023 season went almost perfectly and I was able to improve further. That just makes me happy," said Tim Reiter.
