The fifth ADAC GT4 Germany weekend took place at the Sachsenring. The driver pairing Tim Reiter and Max Rosam took their place behind the wheel of the #2 Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport car again. As always, the strong field of drivers consisted of 29 vehicles.
Due to its layout, the track is rather difficult for the BMW. Nevertheless, the duo was able to work their way through all sessions with their pace. Tim Reiter qualified for the ninth starting row on Saturday and the driver pairing finished in 13th place.
Max Rosam put in a good stint in the BMW M4 GT4 on Sunday after starting the race from P24. Unfortunately , Tim Reiter was unable to finish the race after a collision immediately after exiting the pits .
“During practice on Friday, qualifying and the race on Saturday, I was able to continuously improve and show a good performance. I was very happy with my pace. On Sunday Max drove a really good first stint and I was motivated to take over the car. It's a great pity that I wasn't able to finish the good performance of the weekend on Sunday . A big thank you to the whole team, who, as always, did an excellent job,” said Tim Reiter.
The last race weekend will take place from October 21st to 23rd, 2022 at the Hockenheimring.
