The fourth ADAC GT4 Germany weekend took place at the Nürburgring. In the Eifel, 31 cars competed in two races that provided excitement for the spectators. It was already apparent in free practice that it would be difficult with the Balance of Performance. The track limits in the Veedol chicane also developed into the key point in the tight starting field.
Tim Reiter qualified for the 23rd starting position on Saturday. The BMW M4 GT4 driver had a sensational start and passed his opponents for 10th place within the first lap. He was able to keep up the pace in the front field. His teammate finished the first race in 13th place after 38 laps.
On Sunday, Max Rosam started the race from grid position 26 and made up many places in his stint. Tim Reiter took over the car in 13th place and eventually crossed the finish line in twelfth.
After the sobering weekend at Zandvoort, car number 2 found itself chasing points at the Nürburgring.
"The entire Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport team did an outstanding job at the Nürburgring. After my really good start in race 1, I was able to maintain my 10th position. The two races were a lot of fun. The Nürburgring has been a special place for me since the beginning of my motorsport career," said Tim Reiter.
The next race weekend will be held at the Sachsenring from September 23 to 25, 2022.
