The ADAC GT4 Germany went into the second round at the Red Bull Ring, Austria. At the weekend, Tim Reiter started again with Max Rosam in the BMW M4 of Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport.
29 vehicles competed against each other in qualifying. The session was dominated by the poker game with the weather conditions. Tim Reiter secured the starting position from the tenth row. The duo completed the race distance of 37 laps with flawless stints, ultimately celebrating eighth place.
The second qualifying showed an enormously strong power density, which is rarely recorded in motorsport. With 22 cars within one second of each other, Max Rosam was in P22.
In the second race, the team managed to advance from 22nd starting position to 15th. Unfortunately, the BMW had to be parked early.
"All in all, the entire race weekend up to the retirement on Sunday was a good step forward. P8 on Saturday was a nice success. Unfortunately, we had to park the car on Sunday. That's a shame, because it would have been another top-10, if not top-5 result. I'm looking forward to the next race weekend at Zandvoort," said Tim Reiter.
The next race weekend will be held in Zandvoort, Netherlands, from June 24 to 26, 2022.
