Podium for Tim Reiter in the ADAC GT4 Germany at the Nürburgring

With an excellent start and an outstanding stint, Reiter moved up from 13th to second place in Saturday's race. Wiskirchen was overtaken by ME Motorsport's sister car during the race and secured his first podium of the season. In Sunday's race, the Reiter/Wiskirchen duo had to retire due to an unfortunate situation during Philip Wiskirchen's stint.
In qualifying on Saturday, the best BMW qualified in 12th place. Reiter and his BMW were just 32 thousandths behind in 13th place on the grid. Reiter impressed with an outstanding stint in Saturday's race. He overtook seven cars on the opening lap and worked his way up to second place by the time Wiskirchen took over. As the race progressed, Wiskirchen had to let the sister car from ME Motorsport pass and defended third place to the finish.
In qualifying on Sunday, Wiskirchen placed the ME Motorsport BMW in a very good fifth position. Due to a track limit infringement by a competitor, Wiskirchen started Sunday's race in fourth place. Due to an unfortunate contact with a competitor, Wiskirchen had to park his BMW in the pits with damage in the first part of the race.
"Of course it's a pity to miss out on Sunday. At the same time, I'm very happy that I was able to show my best performance on Saturday. I got off to the best possible start. I was then able to work my way up to P2 without making any mistakes. I will build on that in the races in the second half of the season," said Tim Reiter.
