In Saturday's race, Reiter was only able to overtake a rival Porsche late in the race and had to give the position back after race control pointed out an incorrect overtaking maneuver. On Sunday, Reiter impressed with an outstanding stint and lap times in the top three, driving the ME Motorsport BMW M4 GT4 across the finish line in seventh place. Due to an incident involving Philip Wiskirchen in the first part of the race and the time penalty imposed, the ME Motorsport driver duo was classified in 8th place.
In the very close qualifying session on Saturday, the entire ADAC GT4 Germany field was within eight tenths of a second of each other. Reiter qualified for the race in 14th place as the third-fastest BMW. During the race on Saturday, a rival Porsche prevented a higher pace and therefore a place in the top five.
On Sunday, Tim Reiter took over the car in 10th place in the middle of the race and was able to improve to seventh place with lap times in the leading group. A time penalty of ten seconds from the first part of the race dropped the Reiter/Wiskirchen duo to eighth place in the final standings.
"In the race on Saturday, it was very difficult to overtake the Porsche with its high top speed. When I succeeded, I had to give the place back again. Unfortunately, that meant I couldn't drive my pace. In my stint on Sunday, I drove consistently good lap times and was the fastest BMW in the field. I'm happy about that and about the great performance of the whole team. We will build on this in the coming races," says Tim Reiter.
