Drivers Reiter and Wassertheurer made their debut in the Nürburgring endurance series in a BMW M2 CS Racing from Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport with a flawless qualifying and race. The driver duo were already active in the ADAC GT4 Germany with Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport last year.
Qualifying in the morning gave Reiter/Wassertheurer a good starting position for the start of the race in the second starting group. In the starting phase of the four-hour race, Wassertheurer was able to move up a few places by the time he handed over to Reiter. The MSC Sielmingen driver took over the second stint and continued his flawless drive with further improvements in position.
In the second half of the race, Reiter increased the pace despite degrading tires and saw the chequered flag after more than four hours. In the final standings, the driver duo achieved a class victory and 57th place overall out of over 140 registered teams.
"I'm very satisfied with my first outing on the Nordschleife. My aim was to stay clear of mistakes and stay out of trouble. I'm very pleased that I was able to achieve such a high pace under these circumstances. I've taken the first step towards the permit and now I'm focusing on the upcoming NLS 24h Qualifiers," says Tim Reiter.
Tim Reiter's next outing is a round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) on May 24. Reiter wants to complete his license for the Nordschleife here.
The next ADAC GT4 Germany races for Tim Reiter are at the Norisring from July 4th to 6th. All ADAC GT4 Germany races take place as part of the DTM. The races are broadcast live on Sport1 free-to-air TV and are available as full-length live streams on Sport1.de, Joyn and YouTube under ADAC Motorsport.
