The season opener of the ADAC GT4 Germany has taken place. In Oschersleben, Tim Reiter started in the strong field of 28 cars in the BMW M4 of Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport.
While qualifying proved to be a challenge, Tim Reiter and Max Rosam managed to improve their starting number 2 by five places from the 22nd starting position in the first race.
The second run went well for the driver pairing. Tim deliberately spared the tires for his teammate. Nevertheless, he was able to move up several places, setting the stage for the second stint. With a flawless race, the driver duo secured 13th place and thus the first three points.
"I'm continuing to work on the task of switching from the Audi R8 to the BMW M4. From session to session, I want to take further steps in the right direction. The two races went flawlessly. In the second race our tactics worked. Many thanks to the entire Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport team for the ADAC GT4 Germany race weekend at Oschersleben," said Tim Reiter.
The next race weekend will be held at the Red Bull Ring, Austria, from May 20 to 22, 2022.
